    In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) no. 2016/678 regarding personal data protection (G.D.P.R.), personal data means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified.

    As a law firm, Jurisglobal collects, uses, stores and transfers different type of personal data as follows:

    How are collected your personal data?

    We use different ways to collect your data including:

    • From our website: we collect personal data (full name, email, phone number) through our online form and our legal Jurisbot service.
    • When you share information with Jurisbot, you are subject to LiveChat’s RGPD policy, which is as follows:
      • All data are stored in a central location in Texas (Dallas) for the purpose of providing, maintaining, securing and improving their services. On your request, it is possible to delete a chat.
      • Your data cannot be sold by Livechat. Data transfers are carried out legally.
      • LiveChat uses external auditors to verify the adequacy of its security measures, including the security of physical data centers. These audits are carried out at least once a year and include intrusion tests.
      • In addition, periodic system analysis is performed using automatic problem recognition tools.

    In order to process your personal data effectively and safely, our services providers like our website host, our accountant and our management software process also data about you.

    We consider that theses subcontractors have sufficient guarantees regarding personal data protection.

    Personal data collected are registered according to the retention period of the lawyers’ evidence.  Jurisglobal will stored your personal data for a length of time that does not exceed the end to which it is collected and processed.

    Data collected through Jurisbot is stored by LiveChat in a central location in Texas (Dallas) for the purpose of providing, maintaining, securing and improving their services. On your request, it is possible to delete a conversation.

    Your legal rights

    Under Article 15 and following of the G.D.P.R. you have the following rights:

    Right to cancellation: The data subject has the right to obtain from the data controller the erasure, as soon as possible, of his / her personal data and the data controller’s obligation to erase this data at personal character in some cases.

    Right to limitation of treatment: The data subject has the right to obtain the limitation of treatment from the controller in certain cases.

    Right to portability of data: Under certain conditions, data subjects have the right to receive personal data concerning them which they have provided to a data controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and have the right to transmit this data to another controller without the controller responsible for the processing of the personal data being obstructed.

    Right of opposition: The data subject may oppose the processing of his personal data for reasons related to his particular situation. The controller no longer processes personal data unless he demonstrates that there is a legitimate and compelling reason for such processing.

    Right to lodge a complaint with the National Commission for Informatics and Freedoms (C.N.I.L).

    • Right to access personal data : you can obtain confirmation of whether we are processing your personal data and access to your personal data;
    • Right to have inaccurate personal data rectified: you can have any inaccurate or incomplete personal data rectified;
    • Right to erase data : you can obtain the rectification, erasure or blocking of incomplete or inaccurate data about you.
    • Right to data portability: in certain circumstances you can request to receive a copy of your personal data in a commonly used electronic format.
    • Right to object to processing of personal data: in certain circumstances, you can object to processing of your personal data for reasons related to your particular situation. These personal data will no longer be process unless if there is a legitimate interest for such processing.

    Jurisglobal answer your requests and respond to any request to exercise your legal rights as soon as possible. In any case we will answer you within one month of receiving your request. This delay can be extended to two months according to the number of requests.

    You acknowledge having read and accepted this legal statement.  Consequently, you consent to the automated or manual processing of your personal data by Jurisglobal for the purpose of legal file, application processing and subcontractor contracts.
